Our long-standing client Lincolnshire Co-op had a business case to redevelop the existing funeral care home on Corporation Road in Grimsby and this was issued out for closed tender. Belvin were awarded the contract to complete the works.
Work consisted of soft and hard demolition of the existing facility and a new extension to create a link between the existing facility and the chapel of rest. This was due to clients having to enter through the car park to access the facility.

This development was completed on a busy street in Grimsby therefore, deliveries were maintained to reduce congestion to the public and neighbours.
We also had to keep the garage and store facility fully operational throughout the scheme therefore, a close working relationship between Belvin and the funeral home was developed to maintain the operations and cause minimal disruption.
