Our long-standing client, Lincolnshire Co-op has a business case to redevelop the existing library and provide a small extension to link the existing practice and the library together, then to create an additional reception area with attached consulting rooms due to the increased demand in Welton following a large housing programme.

Works consist of soft and hard demolition of the existing facility and a new extension to create a link between the existing facility and the existing family practice. This was to ease the access to one facility and create a safer access point for patients.

Works include:

  • Demolition
  • Groundworks
  • Drainage
  • Tarmac
  • Asbestos above and below ground
  • Brick and blockwork
  • Joinery
  • Roofing
  • Steelwork
  • External doors
  • Windows
  • M&E
  • Air conditioning
  • IT services
  • Boarding and skimming
  • Suspended ceilings
  • Decoration
  • Flooring
  • Cleaning

This development was completed in a busy location between a Co-op food store and the existing family centre, therefore, deliveries were maintained to reduce congestion to the public and neighbouring properties.

The building has now been completed and has become a more efficient facility for the Lincolnshire Co-op and for the staff to decrease patient waiting times and provide more doctors and nurses to support the local community.
